Health Research Accelerator

Translating
Research into
Real-World Impact

The Health Research Accelerator (HRA) bridges the gap between innovation and clinical care. With deep expertise in implementation and outcomes science, we help partners develop, test, and scale the most promising healthcare innovations—grounded in real-world settings and informed by real-world data.

Engaging Patients and Providers

The HRA supports the full innovation lifecycle, using a mixed-methods approach that combines robust analytics with patient and provider insights (surveys & qualitative inquiry). This model ensures solutions are co-created with end-users and ready for clinical adoption.

Focus Areas:

Transformational Technologies

Research to understand how to embed tools into care delivery.

New Care Models

Designing and scaling innovative approaches to care and payment.

Community Health

Research that advances upstream solutions for wellness and equity.

How We Accelerate Innovation

1

Real-World Evidence (RWE) Studies

Understand what’s happening in care and why then use insights to drive change.

Example: We helped AFib NEXT analyze EHR and survey data to identify treatment patterns and uncover barriers to medication adherence in atrial fibrillation patients.

2

Implementation Research

Identify how to integrate new ideas into health system operations with a direct path to communities.

Example: We engaged CRC Community Health Action Teams (CHATs) using a mixed method study (surveys, focus groups, EHR data) to understand screening behaviors and develop strategies with community leaders to increase colorectal cancer screening in Black and Latino/a populations.

3

Outcomes Research

Uncover the information needed to scale what works and measure what matters.

Example: We conducted a study for A PAD Health Equity that revealed disparities in treatment and outcomes across racial and geographic groups for peripheral artery disease.

HRA is your catalyst for translating discovery into meaningful clinical impact—fast, effectively, and at scale.
